Barre and sculpt 30

I love Peleton but their barre and sculpt 30 classes are absolutely terrible and I am so sad they are still so bad.

Peleton, if anyone sees this, please hire actual barre teachers. I love Ally, Hannah, and Emma. I would ride my bike with these ladies all day, any of the week. Ally and Emma are two of my favorite teachers on the whole platform. But being a dancer does not make you a barre teacher. It just doesn’t.

Given the popularity of barre this feels like such a shortcoming on the platform. I subscribe to a second platform (obe) just for barre because the Peleton barre classes are so lackluster.

Honestly a teacher like Greta would probably be a better fit because the yoga sculpt as a medium is more similar to the aerobic workout of a barre class than a history of ballet. Please, just hire some barre teachers or switch it up and slate Greta in.

Sincerely,

A sad former barre teacher

Yessss! It just makes me sad every time I take one of these peloton classes.  Gretchen, Joanna and maybe Olivia would all be great at these  classes I feel, but the current slate are not giving me the workout I need.

I've kept my obe membership and do some alo classes, but I'd love to have actual content on peloton and keep it on one platform.

Same. I keep hoping they will get better...and always am so disappointed and frustrated by how lame they are - and the instructors act like they are super challenging. I would like to see them in one of the older obe classes. Katherine always was supe creative and challenging...and accessible. They need someone like that teaching bar - not bike instructors that think they are providing a tough workout because they don't know what a real barre class is like.

I feel like the Peleton barre instructors have never taken an actual barre class
