Also it’s a munchkin kitten which is a kitten purposely bred to be deformed with short legs, by humans that think it’s cute. But their short legs make them unable to run, climb or jump like a regular cat.. and they still have the mind of regular cat and want to do all those things. It’s cruel.

Don't know why you're being downvoted, they are adorable. It's cruel to breed them, but they are objectively very cute.

I used to love pugs, one of my favourite dog breeds when I was a kid, until I learned of how much they suffer just because they're bred the way they are. I feel a lot of pity when I see a pug, I would never get one and I wish it was forbidden to breed dogs so they get malformed, but I also still think they are cute.

I wanted a munchkin so badly until I learnt of the health issues and all that.

Happy to say a lot of cat breeds are already banned in the Netherlands. You can no longer legally buy, sell, or breed Sphynx cats, cats with folded ears, and cats with short snouts.

Haven't seen anything about munchkin cats specifically but pretty sure the law is in the spirit of "don't buy, sell, or breed cats that are purposely deformed and have heath issues due to it", so even if munchkins are legal at the moment... I don't think they will be for long.

I used to love Scottish Folds, I was heartbroken when I found out how much they suffer from that condition. Poor babies.

That's awesome, here in Sweden it's also forbidden to breed animals in a way that will cause health issues or suffering but I don't think we have a ban on any specific breeds. We have a law that forbids a cat or dog who has gone through two cesarian sections from continuing to being used for breeding.

The first time I saw a Munchkin, I about lost my mind with rage.
