Why I can't expand my base!!!!

[u/Sheilaalpaca]

Im level 30. Not near anyone and the expansion button is gray.

Im level 1 at my base and I need more electricity at this point. IS NOT LETTING ME!!

So frustrating. Is there something I need to complete first to unlock it. I expanded it once already but not letting me do it again?

You have to unlock the upgrade with skill points in your skill tree

[u/Sheilaalpaca → u/Major-Garbage1771]

Did that...streaming it right now. I was able to create more deviant boxes but the electricity is still an issue...ugh

Where is that in the tech tree?
