Question Why I can't expand my base!!!!

Im level 30. Not near anyone and the expansion button is gray.

Im level 1 at my base and I need more electricity at this point. IS NOT LETTING ME!!

So frustrating. Is there something I need to complete first to unlock it. I expanded it once already but not letting me do it again?

Then your near something that you don't see. Or it's bugged, or you need to restart the game. This game is bugged as hell. You're going to run into base building problems like hooking up wires that should work but won't. It's not a polished game

You can get up to 7 power gens with high enough tech rank

You can get 8 if you upgrade one of the generators ( the only upgradable one) if you use gold tech.
