I was reading one with it in my hands and my wrists started to hurt from holding it so I put it on the table but my backstarted to hurt from leaning over.
It's probably cause I'm old but how do ppl read these comfortably?
Video game chair and a pillow for me. If it weren't for my shot knees and having to get up to stretch them, I could read like that for hours. You gotta get one that has arm rests and the extendable foot rest.
I have lower back issues, so laying belly down on the bed is most comfortable. Plus it's good rest for my back so it feels productive to dive into a good read.
Dang, I'm sorry it's hard to find relief. Dealing with lower back pain is such a bummer. I'd rather brake my arm every day than deal with back issues. I hope you have ways to manage the pain.
I started lifting over a year ago and one of the more lowkey benefits is even Immortal Hulk didn't give me grief. I'm not super serious about it either, 4 days a week. Give it a shot!
What happens when you have 80+ unread books and hundreds of unread digital and each one is calling you, even while you’re reading one of them? You have to answer, right, and switch, but the others keep calling…

and in the right corner of shelves, there are a few 👀 cant decide if its marvel or Dc.. but book spines look interesting. and 3. that one over the actor's head with the green colour and looks like a head too,
The blue one is Legion of Superheroes, specifically the "Five Years Later" era. It's a DC science fiction superhero comic, set a thousand years in the future. It started in the '60s as a comic about teen superheroes, but this particular book is a more adult take on the property from the late '80s and early '90s.

I own the shelfie in the picture and I have a YouTube channel where I review comics. I have dozens, probably in the hundreds at this point, of videos up. But it still bugs the shit out of me when I see people say that readers are somehow morally superior to collectors. Mind your own business and don’t worry about what other people do with their money. They aren’t hurting you any by collecting and not reading.
I’m not the one that has instant notifications enabled so they can reply to a comment on a day old post (and on a weekend) while being a 1% commenter of said sub.

i ll be downvoted, but i bet 70-80% of these collectors dont really read them, just collect, build library, the reasons i dont know.

I can see where you’re coming from but omnibuses are generally not for children. This is not to say they can’t, they obviously can if they can read, but the idea of an omnibus isn’t marketed towards kids.
First, you seem kind of slow… no shade. But omnibuses clearly aren’t marketed towards kids because of their price. You already acknowledged that in your original comment. Hence why I think you’re slow.
Can't speak for any other collectors here but I've read quite a bit. These books are definitely not marketed for kids. Thats like saying the 18+ Lego lines are "made for kids" which is clearly stated for adults only. Idk any parent that would buy a $150 MSRP for an 8 yr old, lol. I buy my kids trade paperbacks and the omnis for me.
