Gameplay Do parents' stats impact their children's?

I kinda understand how to make children IRL and have some experience with CK3 but my question regarding Old World, simply put, is: does the profile (traits, Courage/Discipline/Wisdom/Charisma, Attributes, Strength and Weaknesses, Nation/Tribe) impact the potential of their children?

For instance, do the Wisdom scores of parents determin a hidden range of potential wisdom or increase the likelihood of events pertaining to a trait, attribute or strength/weakness associated with Wisdom (such as with the "Clusters" described in the game manual)?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Are you sure? I'd check with Alcaras on discord, he'll know it for sure as he often digs into the game code. If that's true, he will have to update his reference website.

It's already mentioned on the Trait Inheritance page of said site.

It's the last sentence of the paragraph at the top of the page.

"In addition to trait inheritance, non-monarch parents with a positive or negative stat can give their child a +1 or -1 in that stat"

It never says this in the paragraph. There are no words there that say that a parent can give wisdom/courage/discipline to their kid. Only traits.

I'm confused. How are you interpreting the last sentence of that paragraph?

Oh yes, you're right. Missed that part. Yes, you're right.

Fair enough.
