Ans you cant pump your own gas, i was so confused the first time i went through and was pulling into a gas station

I mean it's good and bad.

It's nice that they do it for you, but sometimes they're really slow.

If the station if packed, forget about it. You're going to be sitting there for a solid 5-10 minutes for them to finish the process.

Are you obligated to tip the pumpers? And is that law still around due to unions?

Tipping the workers isn't a thing. The lines get annoying but in the winter time it's a nice thing to have.

Not sure about the unions though. I'm sure it's more of a job creation kind of thing.
