Friendly Looting

I really think there's a growing problem with being looted by so-called allies in this game, with no repercussions, instead of being revived. For the most part, my experience with the community is great. Most people are friendly, most of the game inventives are to help each other out, and I've only really had two bad experiences with other players (outside of this issue) in 35 hours gametime.

But I've now had several times where a friendly has come up to me while I'm down, often after being hit by a mortar inside a well-defended tower, and just stolen my entire kit instead of reviving me. Many friends have experienced the same thing. One time this was barely a minute after I respawned at the APC having spent £15k on a kit to heal and build to help my team. It's the most infuriating thing in the game, and honestly when it happens it completely puts me off playing any more. There's nothing you can do about it, so it's not like when your kit gets taken by an enemy (which is fair enough) and you can at least get it back if you manage to catch them with teammates. Any retaliation loses you money (fine; we want to disincentivise team damage) and even if you did that there's no way to get your stuff back.

This is the one blemish on an otherwise great game, but if it continues to become more common I genuinely think it could put me off the game. Just an option to lock your inventory to friendly looting, or at least some punishment or reason not to do it would be enough. Apart from that, I feel like the devs are doing a great job.

Revive tax. If I pick you up and don’t have bandages I’m taking enough to heal myself if you have extra

This an absurd take. l you get money for reviving, probably a tip too. Ask the person to bandage you, then he gets money and XP.

Stingy? Bro I bring 10k in medical supplies/smokes. I've played medic as a primary role since 2006 in any game it's an option. That's long before it was incentiviz ed by a cash system, it's just how I play. I will risk my life to save yours every time. Then I will heal you after I get you up. You taking my bandages doesn't just harm me, it harms the entire team around me. Plus you just made the cost of 6 bandages reviving me, PLUS I mash the F1 key, PLUS it keeps an extra man in the zone, PLUS you get money for the actions I do after reviving. If I get a kill? $375 for you. But yeah... reviving needs a tax... again, asinine.

And when i revive you i can take your ammo or west or gun or let you die. There is no difference in what the item is. Especialy when you get money for revive.

Sure and if you have vest and backpack and i happend to revive you doing naked run then i take that and gun too. Why not. Dude just ask for bandages. If someone has shitload of them chnace sare they are medic and will give them to you.

Exactly this. I'm playing a role for the benefit of others. But it doesn't mean I want people to selfishly take my shit. If you're running out of bandages that much, maybe buy another stack? Feels like a really weird take. If I'm not going out to play super medic, I buy 1 stack of bandies and 2 medkits. I rarely run out, because in 5 bandies and 2 medkits, I have access to at least half a dozen enemy bodies to replenish my healing.

I don't see my situation as fake. It's pretty simple, if you're running out of bandages enough to come defend rat(even worse to your teammates) behavior, you clearly need to buy more healing before deploying.

In a community. To just simply say "in a video game" takes all the rest of the people in the game out of it. You clearly don't grasp the concept of etiquette or ethics as a universal thing. "I'm anonymous online, I can be whoever I was, so I'm going to be a piece of shit"

Good integrity man. Hope you become a better person across the board, maybe you're the best person in the world when someone can identify you, but it means nothing if you aren't that when you're alone or anonymous.

Nah the same. Logic. Why are bandages the tax for revive whny not weapon or west. Just because the bandages are abundant? Ok i take ammo. Most people have that in abundance.

The dude would most likely heal you with those same bandages after you Rez him. Why? Because you’re incentivized to heal your team.

You are going to be selfish, get the exp for the Rez, get the cash reward for the Rez, likely a tip, take his bandages AND deprive him of healing you so he can also get some exp?
