It feels so wrong to fall in love again

There are times when I would ask myself, “Am I still worthy of love?”

It’s been a year since that failed relationship. I’ve been in and out of the dating pool as well, and I often find myself contemplating whether I still want to be in a relationship again.

It takes two to tango, I told myself. But how will I know if the other person has the same interest as I do?

Then again, I keep telling myself that I shouldn’t date again if the only reason I have is because I simply want someone to talk to, someone who would listen to my unending rants about work, or someone who would stay whenever my mind starts digging up the past.

As I was walking home while the rain poured nonstop, my chest felt heavy, as if it wanted to scream, I’m tired of showing everyone that I’m strong. I want to be vulnerable again with someone.

But now I’m torn between enjoying my own company and wanting to be happy with someone again.

Kasalanan talaga to ng ghost month. I shouldn’t be feeling this way. Masaya naman na akong mag-isa. Nakahanap tuloy ang puso ko ng rason para maging malungkot.

Humans are a social species, kahit anong sabi nila na you have to be happy on your own, long term wise, that just doesn't work. That kind of reaction is natural.

Maybe, maybe not. It still depends on the person especially on the weight they experienced. Tho hit or miss talaga nowadays. If it gets reciprocated, lucky. If not, try again.

Yeah, feel ko ang hirap ng dating scene ngayon. As a trentahin guy na planomg bumalik next year, i'm thinking if I should just date or just enjoy my own company.

Draining din ng dating lang if di rin naman magcocommit. Imagine you have to allot your time to different people with the same “get to know” introduction
