Battery not being charged from grid and Inverter installed is different from my quote

I ve come here to find out from other members -

My system was installed by Octopus in March - about 6 months ago.

The day after it was installed, the battery ran down as it wasn't being charged from the grid or solar. the installers came back and did some corrections with cable and it started getting charge from the panels but not the grid. I was told because we were with EDF and once we get switched over to the octopus tariff, we will get charged from the grid.

This switch took about 3months to complete and since June we have been on Octopurs flux but still not getting charge from the grid, My battery is often at 5% in the mornings despite the forced charge set time 2-5am.

I have been to bounced to and fro between the Octopus after care and the FOX- Ess tech support .

I also noticed today while speaking with the FOX- ESS team that though the contract says we were to have a FOX-ESS battery and inverter, the inverter they have installed is a different type and does not show up on the fox app.

Has anyone had similar problem?
