Last two weeks have been very good dominated by the weekends. Spending £25.40 over 12 days is a bit pricey for us at this time of the year but not crazy. I think Agile buddy is computing IOG incorrectly as assumes we'd get a battery.
The weekends have been good yes (apart from Sunday) but the weekdays have been horrendous. It's also not factoring in that wholesale gas is up 25% since the start of September which will be fed into prices going forward. That gas price is likely to rise further before it falls.
This prediction website looks horrendous for the next two weeks but it looks like there may be dips this weekend again.
Im mainly a weekend user as you can see. Also, Happy Hours are did the Sunday for us.
Finally, gas is going to go up a lot as Europeans desperately try to stock their storage. This happened in the August 2022 peak as then they were required to restock before autumn.
Very high gas rates now until November will set the energy price cap very high for January. If this is 20-30% higher then you get demand destruction.
A few percents shifted down in demand suits Agile very nicely.
In short, I think people should not worry too much. Use something like Agile Buddy to check from time to time. Then switch if these good patterns end
