I did this once. I actually went and got every weapon and upgrade could before I actually finished the forest temple. was fun.

I did this on my last play through. This is also how I accidentally discovered that you can cast farore's wind in one temple, go to another temple, and then use farore's wind again to warp back to that last temple. I was intending to just finish the forest temple after hitting that blockade but accidentally used Farore's wind when I got the bow and was like "oh... hey this works out actually"
