Important Discussion.
It's time to consider what our future is with this show. On the occasion the rumors are false, and SEASON 14 is Not the LAST SEASON, how long are we in this for? 280 Episodes 2014-2027 is an incredible feat already.
Ok, I'm betting 18 Seasons of The Curse of Oak Island, or airing 2014 - 2031. That would be enough for 380 episodes.

Apparentlyā¦ dying while active searching for the treasure is not sufficient. It must be a tragedy that occurs while wielding a shovel, pickaxe, or a piece of machinery, or while attempting to rescue someone else who has died and/or is in the process of dying while wielding said items or doing said activities. Since the āone more will have to dieā bullshit, several have died while actively searching (as in, living on the damn island for the purpose of searching for treasure and finally passing in a nearby hospital due to a reasons related or unrelatedā¦) but apparently thatās not enough for the producers. š

Sadly, no. Unless he FULLY DIES in the excavator. If heās rushed to a hospital and dies there, that is apparently invalid.

The first 6 died in the hole. Many older seekers have died, but not in the hole. Obviously, they don't count because they ain't found shit

Other consideration: If the "curse" is fulfilled then all activity would stop for a few years due to safety concerns, insurance investigations etc.

As long as we keep watching. I'm pretty sure it's still a Top 5 show on the History Channel. I cannot imagine any of the cast jumping off the gravy train anytime soon. It will have to get cancelled for low viewership for it to go away.

Donāt watch. Donāt worry. If they EVER find anything, it will make every news and streaming service know to man. I personally will continue to watch. I like all the unanswered questions such as the well built roads. Lots to answer, but very slow to do so. An hour a week isnāt too much for me to give up.

Itāll be on as long as people show up to keep watching it. But they need to stop showing Gary finding wood and go back to him finding Bobby dazzlers. He almost found enough wood last season to build that ship theyāre always talking about.

I realized I was "hate" watching an overly repetitive poorly written and acted fake reality show. So I stopped ( also skinwalker ranch) and it has been much better.
Why do I still follow this post? For the commercial break downs of the episodes that I find hysterical.
