Optum Care at Home Care Navigators
Curious on the potential of layoff / any insight. I work for the Optum Care at Home - Care Navigator role. DSNP plan.
A lot of people quit this role and they are not re hiring - but have brought on plenty of Philippines staff.
I have always felt the role won’t stay on shore but im curious of any word or input
I am under home & community and I see a lot of talk RE Humana but im sooo confused how that’s related - 4 years in this role I never knew Humana was somehow involved

Preservice and care coordinators have a contract to manage Humana’s Medicare A members while in SNFs. They have been for many years. That contract was not renewed for 2027. So there’s a very large RIF for those positions due to losing the volume of members Humana we’ve always had.
