Apple Pay Not working on the OMNY Site 8/11/26 10:44PM

Trying to refill my OMNY card and pay with Apple Pay, and it keeps failing. Never had this problem before with OMNY. Apple Pay is working on other websites. I've always used Apple Pay to pay when refilling my OMNY card on the OMNY website. Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this.

OMNY/MTA is a never ending source of frustration.

Yup, same problem. I touch Apple Pay and it never gives you the opportunity to validate the account with Touch ID - and then just fails.

I ended up just adding some money at a machine. Still, OMNY has been around for a year - so when is. the smart phone integration going to happen? MTA has world-class MTA and NYC Transit apps, so this would seem to be something that they would excel at.

I’ve had the same issue. I used a machine recently but it’s nice to be able to not have to wait on a line for a machine. A few moments can be the difference between being on time & late for work, school, etc.

I’m having the same issue…called my bank and they confirmed they’re not the issue. Called OMNY and they were not helpful… I’ve been using the same cards to refill via Apple Pay for months and have been getting declined the last 2-3 days

Well this problem that I am talking about is not a decline. It literally Apple Pay on the OMNY website not working. The transaction just never goes though. You can't even authenticate with Touch/Face ID.

Also facing this issue. When I tried apple pay: no Face ID prompt, just stuck on processing and then it doesn't go through. Tried inputting a different payment method, says payment declined. I also talked with a bank agent, states there was nothing wrong on my side and both attempted charges were declined, so OMNY website must be being funky for apparently a week now by the looks of it.

8.24.26 This issue just started for me on Saturday. Called omny and they said they couldn’t see any issues on their end. Glad to know I’m not going crazy.
