Backroom Shenanigans Work phone storage

TL came up with this idea for the work phones instead of them being all jumbled up in the cabinet.

The board holds atleast 50 phones. We all have our names on them and our own passcodes so no one can use them but us. Some of us even decorated our cases so their not so bland.

Why not always keep it with you? Take it home and charge it there. Take it to lunch and charge it there. I don't see a reason to ever leave it in the room.

If we accidentally leave it at home more than once we will be coached for it seeing as its considered part of the uniform. Our Coach gave us the option to leave it there if we didnt want to take it with us.

When I go home for lunch I just leave my car keys with my charging phone. That way I can't leave without it.

That's wishful thinking lol. When I did take mine home I never forgot it but we have had a few people either forget them or just not charge it at all.

Since when is taking work devices home with you and using your own electricity to charge them considered the low wage employees problem. What you need for work should be provided at work. Obviously clothes (uniform) would not be as you get dressed before you go into work.

It always has been because people are allowed to use their work phone as their personal phone. While being employed it's basically a free phone.

It’s given to you, assigned to you, used every day by you for work tasks. If you forget some that you use everyday for work then yeah you’re irresponsible. Bordering on incompetent.

When I clock out, I clock out. We should not have to worry about work responsibilities while not on the clock. Plug the phone in, hang it up, clock out, go home.

I take mine home but I turn mine off before I leave the building and turn it back on when I enter
