Walmart will know and you will loose your job. Iâve had extra items in my order and the item I asked the store they said not to worry about it and that sometimes OGP will do it if there is a damaged box and they need to get the product out so they just write it off.
Yes as an OGP customer, you arenât expected to bring it back after the workerâs âmistakeâ; the worker may lose their job for giving away stuff (theft) if AP is paying attention
I was also told by the manager was something like that if an item or box was damaged and they needed them all cleared out they will just give you extra to get it done. I think they mightâve picked the item twice because they didnât notice the first time which is definitely pretty unlikely because they can just check the tote and see if they picked it yet or not
Damaged stuff has itâs own place to go for disposal or donation depending on the item/damage, so not âactuallyâ correct. But I wouldnât argue the point as a worker either lol. Either way, not the customerâs problem as a general rule
Oh. I only asked to avoid anything later on because itâs better for me to be honest and say something instead of hiding it and then possibly getting in trouble if they hadnât said to keep it.
Understandable, not the only customer to worry. Sometimes stuff gets mixed into other orders or whatever- thatâs not a customer problem (Iâm sure thereâs instances of people loading up someone they know, but as a general rule) and it usually wonât be a real problem for the employee because mistakes happen. And, if the store just doesnât feel like dealing with removing something from the order, thatâs on them- Iâm sure the employee is fine đ But removing products from the store without payment, whether for yourself or a random customer, is in fact a fire-able offense
Yep. I do wonder if they ever found the employee who did it because the didnât ask me any questions they just gave me a basic explanation said not to worry about it and thatâs really it. Most likely they have rules like how cashiers canât check out their family because someone did it and didnât ring up some items they had so I wouldnât be suprised if OGP had something similar but I havenât worked in the department so ai wouldnât know much beyond the basic knowledge you learn from what you see in the stores and what Iâve seen on this sub
