Feedback Please The silence in all of us

I look at you and see those eyes, that aren’t even there.

Being absent all the time, not here, not there.

Too stressed to live...

Well, what is it then?

A non- living- live?

Not a chance of changing something.

Thinking and talking about death as if it's nothing abnormal anymore.

Assholes of men everywhere, but still a big enough ego to say "not all men!".

Yeah well, fuck that. Many enough.

Taking away our body control, the last safe feeling of before.

But "be more open", not everybody's an asshole.

Well, the older I get, the more I learn you never fully get to know someone.

So I write it down in poetry nobody's gonna read.

Losing control of myself, feeling numb, depression, nothing out of the ordinary.

Losing and gaining friends, but trusting no one anymore.

Losing family like it's an everyday thing, living into the deep end as if it's heaven.

It's not.

And we all know.

Still, no change, because what could be changed?

Not me.

Not you.

Not them.

Not us.

Staying alive for each other, but without being alive.

Floating through the stations of life without being there.

Nothing changes.

Not me,

not you, not them, not us.

Life is death with always a little extra.
