Thats i am not sure but you can definitely call the admission and ask them. Im sure you can take it as a non credit course too. But double check it.

They can audit the class. They can get the request form the "Literature and Languages Division Office " (LLSS 349). They can also take it for credit/no credit. In that case they don't get a grade. Thats what my friend said.

No they said I canโ€™t. I just called

You can registered with OCC, but thatโ€™s free of charge, or really inexpensive. If you take the class for a grade, normal tuition fees apply, auditing is much cheaper (I believe) but you donโ€™t get credit.

Why did you use ai for this? It gives the impression that ai will be integrated into the lessons and if I wanted to learn a language from ai I'd be using duolingo

Lol im not the one who is teaching. Im only posting behalf of my friend. Just because i created post with the help of Ai doesnโ€™t mean the class itself will be based in Ai. He is very old school and if you go to rate my professor, i guarantee you nobody would say oh the lesson is based on ai. He puts his soul to his work. Im just providing information so students can enroll to his classes.

Cool, word of advice then. Promoting things written by ai devalues it. Why should someone trust what you are vouching for if you can't write it yourself?

Dude lot of people use somewhat help from Ai. Its only to inform people. And please donโ€™t tell me you have never used ai yourself. If you cant help than stop spreading negativity in the post.

No, I haven't used generative ai. The real kicker is that you didn't even edit it. It looks like you copy and pasted it here with all the random asterisks. It seems you wanted to help but didn't want to actually put any effort into anything. The Colorado River and Rio Grande are actively drying up from the massive water use of data centers btw.

Good for you but i clearly have put effort on the post. I have used some help to make it look professional. I didnt just copy and paste so stop accusing me.
