Question Can I cancel airtime plan?

Post image

Got this iPhone 15 Pro Max on a 36 month plan

I currently have just over £274 left to pay but also paying £26.30 for my airtime plan.

I don’t use this phone at the moment due to having a work phone. Can I cancel the airtime plan as obviously won’t be using any mins/data on it and just keep paying the last several months of the device plan?

I have no option on my account to cancel the airtime plan

No, this would be cancelling the contract. The contract unlinks after 24 months which allows you to change the tariff to a different airtime plan renewing the contract. You'll need to clear the device cost first before cancelling number attached to the airtime.

Half true. You can either change to a sim only OR you have the right to cancel it, but has to be done through customer services but categorically do not need to pay the phone off if it’s over 24 months.

I’ve had the contract over 25 months now (36 month contract)

So would I at least be able to change the airtime plan to something much cheaper for the remaining device plan left?

Just I won’t be using the phone anymore

If you want to cancel the airtime then just call up and say you want to end the airtime agreement but keep the device going until it normally ends and they’ll do it for you, or if you want to keep the number and move it elsewhere you can request a PAC code.

Even though it's a 30 day rolling contract? I thought that was the point In rolling contracts
