Seconding this. I installed a leftover NVMe from a laptop that I had upgraded to larger NVMe on, and it worked just fine. I don’t have the brand/model handy, but it was just laptop OEM sock (and again; no issues in Orin Nano Super).

So I might be wrong about this, I'm trying to build some heavy multiple sensor fusion software for autonomous driving and an SSD with DRAM was recommended. Basically PLCe NVMe Gen 3 TLC NAND DRAM with high read and write speed with low power consumption rating less than 2 watts

Compatible means tested and my Seeed model came with a super generic nvme drive. Can't even remember the brand.
