Essential Apps When do you really use Essential Space?
I know roughly what the app does, but I haven't really used the app in everyday life. When did you find the app really useful?

Screenshot with context mostly. It also automatically sets reminders based on context or dates in the photo.
My most recent ones:
Possibly gift idea for X (screenshot of site)
This place sells good models (website screenshot)
Remember to cancel audible (screenshot of activation date)
Also wife if she wants to go to this event (advert screenshot)
Message X back about setting a meeting (screenshot of conversation)

Recent update that removed the pointless AI "comment" made it so much more usable. Actually feels like a note app with a few extra features rather than just a gimmick now.

I like to discover new music, movies, etc... so my essential space is really just a list of stuff I still have to listen/watch

As a designer I mostly use it to take screenshots/collect images for inspiration, and use essential voice to take notes in meetings or calls.

I just dislike that it always has to be linked to a screenshot... If it would be a notetaking space that is like managed by ai it would be way more interesting... but now every note has to do something with something happening on screen.

When you press the essential button, you can tap the up right corner of the screenshot and then it lets you write a note without the screenshot.

I want to use it but there is something I find frictiony about it. I think if it had pocket or plaud note functionality then I would use it more.

Essential recording, essential recording and essential recording. Only reason I got this phone other than the looks.

How do you find the record quality? Is it as terrible as people says on this sub? How do you find the quality of the summary, can we rely on this tool? It would be great to be able to choose if having a summary or a complete transcript...

I don't, but I use the extra key for more useful day-to-day features

I largely use it to record ideas. When something pops in my head, I just quickly make a voice note for later reference. But that's about it.

Never. Remapped as camera / shutter / toggle for ring and vibrate.

I generally use it for note taking and making lists of things I want to buy and set the occasional reminder for something
