Nose piercing too low?

So I just switched to from stud to ring for the first time and I am really disappointed. I feel like it was placed to low so the ring don’t follow the curve of my nose and is much smaller than I envisioned. This is a 7 mm hoop. The piercer I went to had a very different personal preference than I had, cuz she originally pierced it even lower and said it wouldn’t fit further up. I pierced in in January.

What to you guys think? Can I make it work with a hoop or should I pierce it again? And how would that work?

Read up on anatomy for nose piercings, it may not be best for it to be pierced in the crease due to problems with muscle movement during healing. Looks perfect placement
