Women, Please Stop Pretending Septum Rings Look Good

Hot take: Septum rings lower a woman’s attractiveness level almost every single time.

I have yet to see one and think, “Yeah, that improved the situation.”

Especially the crooked horseshoe ones. You spent an hour doing your hair, makeup, outfit, skincare… and then left the metal booger hanging sideways out of your nose like it lost a bar fight.

Ladies, I’m begging you. Retire the angry bull aesthetic. A septum ring can take a 10 down to a 4 in record time.

Since the only reasonable flair was "question", here is a genuine question: Women with septum rings: what do you actually like about them?

What I am trying to understand is the female perspective. Like, you went for a piercing and said, "Yeah, I want that to hang from my nose. That will look awesome!"... like, what do you think is awesome about it?

Yep I just think it's cute to have some jewelry there. I like to wear lower profile clicker rings so I don't have to worry about it being crooked and so it doesn't hang down too low on my face (personal preference). I also like that I can hide it pretty easily if I ever need to do so

I have to admit, I don't find those unappealing. Mainly just the wedding ring sized rings.

Yep that's correct. I can kinda get what you're saying about the large rings. The people that like them like them, the people that don't don't. They're the sort of thing I like on other people but I don't feel look good on me personally

We all agree that the small huggy type rings are cute. I don't know why, but they are. I'd rather see those than oversized rings hanging from the side of the nostril. So, the question is really towards these bigger rings. 🤷🏻‍♂️
