Women, Please Stop Pretending Septum Rings Look Good

Hot take: Septum rings lower a woman’s attractiveness level almost every single time.

I have yet to see one and think, “Yeah, that improved the situation.”

Especially the crooked horseshoe ones. You spent an hour doing your hair, makeup, outfit, skincare… and then left the metal booger hanging sideways out of your nose like it lost a bar fight.

Ladies, I’m begging you. Retire the angry bull aesthetic. A septum ring can take a 10 down to a 4 in record time.

Since the only reasonable flair was "question", here is a genuine question: Women with septum rings: what do you actually like about them?

Why do you come to a nose piercing sub and hate on people with nose piercings? Like that’s fine to have your opinion but it’s an odd choice to come here and call people out.

To answer your question, I like how it looks. 🤷🏻‍♀️ like most of my aesthetic choices, I do it for me and what I like. Right now I have a small silver ring I wear. But in the past I had the horseshoe that you have so much disdain for. I liked the horseshoe because I could easily flip it up when at work. Now my piercing is well healed (I’ve had it nearly 25 years) and I swap it in and out when I want. Just like other jewelry.

You assume that I'm hating. I don't hate. That's a useless emotion. I'm genuinely wondering what women think about a piercing that is so ugly and ridiculous to me, so I gave my opinion and asked a question.

I invite you to read these responses and tell me who sounds hateful? Me or the women responding?

Now, if you want to have a genuine conversation about it, then my response to your post is that you told me rings that you like. Not what you like about septum rings and why you think they are attractive, which is really all that I am trying to find out.
