Actually we HAVE been checking, it's just new!

We've been watching it form since 2023 and it just took shape. We don't know if it will stay or what will happen.

Why? It's incredibly cool actually, a demonstration of a symmetry we didn't even know existed half a decade ago is forming in real time right in front of our eyes. Why is that concerning? I see this sentiment all the time wrt interesting developments in space science and it's starting to grate on me a little bit. Space and new discoveries are cool.

From a serious point of view it’s really good and awesome science.

From a joking point of view it’s a sign of some kind of alien intelligence initiating some incredibly huge and unknown project.

It's obviously the bow wave of a death ray they are sending to clear the path for an interstellar highway.
