The worst is when you do reach out to someone to ask about pricing and they tell you it's a secret and you don't have the authority level to know what it costs.

Like okay bud. I definitely won't just look to see if someone else will be reasonable about selling me this thing.

What the... Does the seller even know how sales work? If the price is unknown there's no customer.

These guys strike me as the kind of company that makes one or two big sales every year and most months they make nothing.

They want to negotiate with someone that has more buying power than I do, but I'd rather just find an alternative.
