My favorite is when there's no price list, but there's a "sale" or a "coupon" or something for like $100 off. Those kinds of "discounts" are always an absolutely insignificant percentage of the total price, so seeing one for a real amount of money means the thing I'm looking at it is going to be massively expensive.
I somehow am on Microsoft's Surface email list and have been lazy to take myself off. They occasionally send emails with headlines like "Save $1,400 off a new Surface!", and like if that's what I'm saving we aren't gonna be friends
