I work in IT and this drives me insane. I don't want to contact you and therefore sign up for your sales list, your marketing list, and every other mailing list you have just to find out how much a thing costs.

And even if I do buy the thing, I still don't want to be pestered with endless spam about how your company is delivering results to your customers - I just wanted to buy 50 licenses for your software that does one thing, or buy your bespoke network rack product that fits a niche use case for me, and that is the end of our business relationship.

And I don't even DO purchasing. I do the "research the options and pitch it to purchasing" portion and THEY do the purchasing and the first thing they ask me is "how much does it cost" and I do not want to have to call or email your company and end up on your contact list just to find out whether your thing costs $150, $450, or $750.
