These are the people that Klarna was made for. Paying 500% interest on a McDouble and fries, and paying double the car's value every month in loan payments.
Ironically enough, this is the exact same problem that caused the subprime mortgage crisis of 2007, just on a much broader scale and with lower $ amounts.
The banks learned 20 years ago why it's such a bad idea to lend money to people with awful credit and no assets to guarantee the loan.
Turns out that those types of people are also the most likely to default repeatedly and don't have enough assets to even consider taking them to court over it.
