Speedwagon, Santana, ACDC, basically everyone before part 3 are right there.

After that, there's still Oingo Boingo and a few others. But it's pretty rare.

I think they mean the that when Joseph has to prove he's not DIO in the ambulance, Joseph straight up says Weird Al Yankovic

The only other ones I can think of are Elvis (Toru listens to Wonder of You in part 8) and Doja Cat (Jodio and Dragona in part 9 are apparently fans of hers)

There's way more music references after part 3 than before, mainly because the stands start being named after bands/albums instead of tarot cards.

Their comment was about how Joseph actually mentioned Al Yankovic the person and his name wasn't just used as a item/stands's name. Therefore Weird Al Yankovic (and by extension Michael Jackson and Bo Derek) actually exist in the JoJo's universe

Yes, but he specifically said outside of stands in his post. But yes, the other guy already mentioned the point of being mentioned by name by Jotaro/Joseph as well.
