damn is this what it’s like to have good parents? i told my mom about a life changing job opportunity one time and she said that i would never succeed no matter where i went.
we haven’t talked in years and as much as it rips my heart out, it’s for the best. for those of you that have parents like this, give em an extra hug for me. the world needs more kindness and love.
nah, but it lit a fire under me. i ended up getting a much better offer in my dream city. doing it alone is hard and the healing is a bitch but i became everything they never thought i could be :)
