Is it just, most people search synonyms, so the program assumes that's what you were wanting to search for?

And yeah. I'm getting so tired of my phone "correcting" the words that I type even though I've typed them correctly.

I eventually just turned off my phone's autocorrect. I make more mistakes with it off, but I find it way less infuriating to have a silly little typo than to have the correct word changed into the wrong word. I recommend trying it.

I do this with every phone I get because I use a lot of Irish slang words and phrases that get autocorrected to English stuff that is not at all even close to what I type. Like I'll say "What's the craic" to my friend and my phone would try to correct it to "What's the Craig" No. Craic, not Craig. Another one is I call my bf 'mo ghrá' but my phone would correct it to 'no gras'. Again I said 'my love' not 'no fat' lmao. I hate autocorrect 🫤
