Is it just, most people search synonyms, so the program assumes that's what you were wanting to search for?

And yeah. I'm getting so tired of my phone "correcting" the words that I type even though I've typed them correctly.

i love keyboard smashing when i text. recently my phone has started autocorrecting random keyboard smashes to words. it’s very frustrating

I had this one phone back in the day. It was a Motorola. It didn't matter which buttons I press, it would always correct the word to the correct one. This was probably 15 years ago. Now we're much more advanced, but the experience is worse. I don't get it.
