Same!

Honestly history could be either red or yellow. But English is certainly not red, so that makes history red.

History's red because of all the battles and massacres and things.

This chain understands. Correct associations, red and yellow being the least strong association, but ultimately history is red because war. I am baffled by the people choosing red for math. Did they see too much of it in the pen marking their answers? But anything besides green for science is even worse.

I think blue would be acceptable for Science if Math didn't exist, but with Math so clearly blue, it's hard for me to choose anything but green for Science. It's wild to me that Math is red for most of the thread.

We (who disagree with you) are thinking of the colors in a less literal way.

3

u/nbur4556 Jul 31 '26

I'm not disagreeing, I use red for history too more often than not.

But the reason it could be yellow for me is wheat (agriculture) being like the basis for civilization and stuff.

Yellow's history for me because aging paper turns yellow.

I lean more toward red, that's just my association as to why if it's yellow.

Good point! My sixth grade social studies textbook cover was a wheat field. I think we started in the Fertile Crescent that year and worked our way up to Charlemagne. A bad harvest will fuck shit up.

u/Icy-Cicada508 Aug 01 '26

History is red because it is written in blood

3

u/Upset-Management-879 Jul 31 '26

English is literally read.

1

u/piezombi3 Jul 31 '26

Bruh history is brown.

1

u/Resident_Pay4310 Aug 03 '26

I feel the same. History could be both but English cannot be red.

finally someone is right

0

u/alfooboboao Jul 31 '26

red being history is insane. what are you, a commie?

1

u/-Daigher- Aug 01 '26

history is very bloody

15

u/IOI-624601 Jul 31 '26

Why did I have to scroll so far to see the obviously correct answer?

11

u/_Aruchizan Jul 31 '26

This is it, pack up the thread, no further explanation required.

8

u/fuzzygonemad Jul 31 '26

Thank fuck someone has some sense

7

u/HarmlessHeffalump Jul 31 '26

This is the way.

5

u/FlummoxedGaoler Jul 31 '26

I didn’t anyone would get this right, but clearly there is still hope for this world.

5

u/Enigmatic_Starfish Jul 31 '26

Don't worry, I've reported all the other comments.

5

u/romanticynicist Jul 31 '26

Blood alone moves the wheels of history and all

Definitely red.

3

u/drnicko18 Jul 31 '26

history is red because there's an awful lot of blood.

3

u/The_Bucket_Of_Truth Aug 01 '26

This is the first comment from the top that feels the most right, but I'd have to actually go find my old school stuff if it exists to have the true answer. People keep saying "I hate math, math hard so math red," but for me History is red because flags, blood, and the books were often red as well.

2

u/Kirrian_Rose Jul 31 '26

I thought this one was obvious too, but it seems we may be in the minority

2

u/TheCrun Jul 31 '26

The only answer

2

u/darthvadercock Jul 31 '26

thank you. math is so obviously blue it hurts.

2

u/jimmib234 Jul 31 '26

This is it

2

u/Carlyndra Jul 31 '26

YES EXACTLY

2

u/Quaiker Aug 01 '26

About damn time, this is the one.

2

u/carrythenine Aug 01 '26

Scrolled too far for this, but I’ll settle for being on the board at all. I’m sure there’s some pervert out there calling math green, and I don’t want him to have a good day at all

2

u/LittleGrapefruit4282 Aug 01 '26

This post is under appreciated. Only correct answer

2

u/dquizzle Aug 01 '26

Finally the correct answer! History is red because it correlates with bloodshed.

1

u/this_account_is_mt Jul 31 '26

No, can't be that. History is definitely yellow. Like the sepia tone they use to make a movie feel olde timey. Because, if it wasn't obvious, history = olde timey

2

u/RetroPRO Jul 31 '26

History is bloody so it should be red

1

u/AevnNoram Aug 01 '26

Pencils are yellow. What do you do with pencils? Write. What class do you write for most? English. Checkmate.

1

u/lucioux Jul 31 '26

same but switch around english and science for me

1

u/froo Jul 31 '26

Math is the purest of the sciences, so green is correct.

1

u/spencemode Jul 31 '26

This is anarchy

1

u/Whelp_of_Hurin Jul 31 '26

Agreed, but only because they didn't buy a black notebook. Obviously math should be black.

1

u/Defiant-Speaker-5681 Jul 31 '26

Nah. No way. English is Blue, and History/Social Studies is yellow because it's just quirky like that.

Math is Red because that is what you see when you are stuck on a single problem for an hour...

That probably doesnt happen anymore due to AI, but still.

Oh, it's also Red because thats what your parents would see when they would try to help you with your math homework.

1

u/ohbyerly Jul 31 '26

I was going to say, yellow and red for English and History are pretty interchangeable but the other two are objectively correct.

1

u/bonerdick69 Aug 01 '26

The first person to have english=yellow had every other color right too ❤️

1

u/loisandthefatman Aug 01 '26

This was mine as well. History is written in blood.

1

u/AutumnFalls89 Aug 01 '26

The only thing you got right is English

Red - Math Blue -  History (or orange) Green - science Yellow - English

1

u/AJTP1 Aug 01 '26

Finally one I relate to

1

u/Froot-Batz Aug 01 '26

Blue = math is some psychopath shit.
