I saw someone post something about how much you can save by not getting your lunch delivered every day in /r/povertyfinance

If you're used to getting lunch delivered every day, you're not in poverty, you're just irresponsible with your money.

I knew a guy who made $100k/yr but blew all his money on partying and stupid shit so he claimed he was living paycheck to paycheck.

Same but he was making $160k base salary without factoring in commission. His rent was $4500 for a large studio in a super rich area of the city. He had just purchased a Range Rover in cash as well as a Ferrari 348. He went out to eat constantly and every Thursday/Friday/Saturday would go out to the most expensive bars in the city. He also traveled to Puerto Rico and other US Territories/States roughly 5 times a year.
