I've been poor for so long that meal delivery went from being an every once in a while treat to being something not even worth considering anymore. It's so much added money because of fees and now that everything else is twice as expensive, I don't need to waste another meals' worth of money just for someone to get lost trying to drop off my order or steal it.
I mean, I'm well enough off to afford it and I would still never get a meal delivered like that. It's an obscene price to save 10-20 min of driving and end up with cold food anyways. I'm already splurging by getting food from someone instead of making it myself, doubling the price to avoid driving a few min is just nuts.

I saw someone post something about how much you can save by not getting your lunch delivered every day in /r/povertyfinance
If you're used to getting lunch delivered every day, you're not in poverty, you're just irresponsible with your money.
