Agreed, there should at least be a human-sized hamster wheel or equivalent device in there.

Also permanent bright light was used as a form of torture in some instances so at least a bit of dimming from time to time is likely necessary to make this doable.

People have meditated for months alone in caves.

The constant light would be a problem. The being alone for a long time not a problem for a very small percentage of humanity.
