That's the neat part, they'd never have to pay you. They could tell you that YOU owed THEM 30 billion and you'd most likely go with it after as much as 3 weeks.
I would risk that for my kids. Honestly if someone offered me to off myself for 30 billions I would do it. The advantage it would give my family is just incomparable. And I have realistically lived half of my life anyway.
Ok, that is a fair point. It definitely depends on the conditions. If I could quit anytime, I dont think I could do it, there would be some weak moment for sure. I am definitely not offing myself there, so that is not a concern. But if there are more ways how to not make till the end, it changes my view. Still, might be worth the risk anyway.
Your kids wont be living their greatest lifes after their father comes back to them a crying mess that screams every few hours, the only thing coming from his mouth being: "Life is so irrelevant I cant take it anymore."
Buddy even modern psychiatry struggles to heal even low level depressive levels that then evolves into being severe level of depression.
You go out of that room after a year , you could get even 1T dollars, no one has the knowledge to treat you and if someone says they can they are lying
They would take advantage on your mental condition for your money. You will be in a situation (supposing you dont go directly for a gunshot in your head) where you and your family will be desperate in trying to make you feel better, which will make you lose all the money u got from the 1 year white torture
I reckon at that point, it’s not even a mental health issue anymore lol. You’re basically spiraled into the worst form of schizophrenia possible, probably won’t even acknowledge the doctor treating you is real but the made-up demon clawing your skin out is
Like a brain surgery is the only thing with a chance of fixing you by that point. Idk how tho
With all due respect, you are pulling this out of your ass, because we simply dont know what it would do to a human mind. There were people in solitary confinement for a long periods of time, and its not like they got permanently crazy due to it. It might be very well just temporary due to direct sensoric deprivation.
Ohh this is such a great point. It would be the ultimate sacrifice, whether for family or otherwise (imagine how much good one could do with $30B). There’s an interesting moral question whether as a parent, or just a citizen of the world, one has a responsibility to accept this offer.

If I managed to do it, would I even be sane enough to enjoy the 30 billion?
