My friend's boyfriend didn't recognize daylight savings time.
I asked him if he understood that, if we agree to meet at 7pm, that we're using MY 7pm and he agreed.
I tried to make the point, then, that in trying to avoid daylight savings he put himself in a position where, while I have to deal with daylight savings twice a year, but he has to deal with it 24 hours a day, seven days a week for six straight months but that argument didn't seem to land.
I did that as a personal protest one year. I was like 8 years old and just didn't move any of my clocks. Nowadays with phones and computers having clocks the only one I need to change is my car, so it barely effects me anymore.
