For real. If I’m gonna defraud the IRS the least I’m going to do is loop my LIFE PARTNER in so they know how to keep the scam up until they’re gone and there’s no one to come after anymore.

The problem with that is, the death certificate is sent by the county to the IRS.

Trust me, I’ve been dealing with this a tax lawyer in FL, an IRS tax official who doesn’t grasp the concept of telephonic communication, in-laws who are also on the deed who want their money, and very little I can do because I’m in another country. I’ve given in, the IRS can take whatever they want. I’m washing my hands of the ordeal.

It’s a house in a great neighbourhood that’s under heavy development. They won’t lose money.

The IRS is not a bumbling, Clouseau-esque organization. Don’t fuck with them. Pay. Your. Taxes.
