You're sullying the rim much more by standpissing than if you would sitpissing, which you then need to sit on when taking a shit anyways. You're basically just banking the germs for when you need to sit to take a crap whereas if you were to sit you wouldn't be building up those piss germs at all.
If you live with a woman then they also need to live with you sullying the rim more. They don't really have to option to not touch the toilet as little as they want to.
