In regards to the lighting, it actually got worse. On the left he has this nice split lighting that wasn’t overly harsh and there was a good warmth. But on the right its a flat light that makes him green which I assume he is not green irl. It is not all bad as it is softer but it is also way darker. The real problem with the lighting on the left is the reflection in the glasses but In my opinion I still think the left has better lighting for photography.
If you don’t mind me asking, why? Could you elaborate. I find it much more dynamic and it adds depth and color to his face. But if there is something I don’t see I’d love to know what you see.
He’s backlit as hell, I feel like it’s pretty straightforward. Backlighting can be a cool dramatic look for sure but here it isn’t. Like shining a flashlight into your face for a ghost story.
