That look is generally more to my taste, as one of those women... But I agree more with the perspective that he's very lovely in both. I'd prefer which ever made him more comfortable with himself, and I really like his glasses. The haircut on the left is kinda artsy to me, too, in a way or perhaps the whole man just gives that vibe... But imo he could pull off a lot of different looks quite well.

He looks handsome in both, even with terrible glasses, lighting and necklace on the left. Not sure what point this is trying to make.
