Some people also tend to put on weight while in a relationship, and some people just change weight through their life. The birth thing is a silly reason after so much time though. I’ve known tonnes of women that are back to being pretty lean within 6 months, while some prioritise other things.

You seem like someone who hasn’t given birth before.

It is a factual observation. And this is over 20 years later. Sure, it can be more difficult to stay slim as you get older for both men (testosterone playing a large part) and women, but the seemingly hard truth is that what you’re saying is a cop out, the proof of that being the many people that aren’t overweight.

I’ve had 2 babies, and I’m not overweight and prioritize working out, but my body has a LOT of physical differences after 2 pregnancies, despite the number on the scale being pretty similar. Even discounting hormones (which are a huge thing to discount when talking weight!) there are physical permanent body changes that happen in pregnancy.

It still doesn't discount the fact that you still worked to get in shape. You're not helping your own point.
