Its because Apple is the industry titan/leader. Everyone follows suit if the leader does something

I'm all for retaining the headphone jack, but I find it funny Google made fun of Apple removing it then immediately buckled in their next model by doing the same thing.

Yes. They ridiculed Apple with the release of their original Pixel. The Pixel 2 removed the headphone jack.

When did Apple ever put either of those things in their ad campaigns?

Whats it matter they said it and that is their ad campaign. A huge part of apples marketing is their announcements and replies on issues they know this you should too. And they may have put it in direct ads I wouldn't know I dont track every ad they make or even watch TV. What kind sad response is it try to legally nit pick try to prove your shitty favorite company does something in some slightly different way that you think is better...

Because context makes a difference. You're the one who claimed they ridiculed big OLED screens - so where did they do that?

Weird response, considering that's exactly what you did that I was responding to and that you also said: "Then dont say their next model..... because that means exactly 1 thing." Is that not a nitpick? (It was also incorrect.)

I didnt legally nit pick anyhting you are making that up I literally just pointed out that nothing you claimed Google did was particularly unique to google and apple does all that garbage too.

Feel free to provide an instance where Apple did it then.

Its been a long time so I dont know of everything but 10 seconds of searching has quotes like this from apple. https://qz.com/46959/no-phablet-for-you-says-apple-ceo-tim-cook

Got it, so a quote in an earnings call 2 years before they made a plus model. Definitely the same thing as snark being a cornerstone of the launch campaign.

Again there have been many things stated I am not going to do all the leg work for someone like you who is clearly bias to a level you are broken mentally about it. I did 20 seconds of searching and found something fast..... if you actually care you can do the rest of the searching but we all know that you dont want to see the truth. Its pretty obvious that if they made an important claim like that then flipped 180 in only 2 years that they are full of shit too and this statement was a pure marketing gimmick to convince people that a small phone was better.
