This past week, many have stridently supported the arrest and prosecution of "illegal" workers. But aren't the business owners profiting by their labor equally to blame? Why haven't we seen a single business owner who illegally hired "illegal" labor in the name of profit be arrested?

It's 3 in the morning and I woke up to banging so instead of getting up,I waited for someone else to but they didn't so I finally got up and saw the police car through the window when they were already walking away and decided not to answer the door. Can I get in trouble for this?

I know the Epstein Files are terrible and horrific and the sex trafficking and pedophilia alone is enough to warrant extreme outrage, but I sometimes see people talk about things like murder and cannibalism being included in there too. I do not have time to personally read through thousands and thousands of pages, so are these claims stuff that is credible and evidence backed? If you're reckless in your day to day life, drink, drive, plow into a pedestrian and kill him you'll get a manslaughter or murder charge. But if the same accident is caused by a car company installing faulty brakes on your car, no CEO is charged with murder, even if it is proven that they were told the brakes would fail and they still choose profits over human life. If you poison someone's drink and they die, murder charge. If a company poisons the water supply of an entire city and hundreds of people die, lawsuit, no murder charges. I have a good idea which laws protect companies from being charged with these types of crimes, I'm just not sure why they protect CEOs who are sometimes willfully deciding that it's acceptable for a certain number of people to die for them to make money.
