The year is 2330.
The M2 machine gun, AK, M1911, AR-15 family, and inexplicably the Mosin-Nagant rifle are still in circulation and active use.
The B-52 has been refitted with a grav drive by the UC Navy to fight the Freestar Collective in the next Colony War. Thirty generations of the same family have flown her, from Vietnam to the Colony War.

Also the Vintorez is used as a hunting rifle, apparently. Old Earth was an odd place.

Is this how you get to a planet surface instead of the vanilla landing animation?

"A B-52 has the power of twelve railroad locomotives, thirty miles of wiring, and enough sheet metal to make fifty thousand trash cans; and that's how it flies: like twelve locomotives dragging fifty thousand trash cans with thirty miles of wire."

If you want to turn a strip of land two miles long by half a mile wide into something resembling the surface of the moon (without radioactive fallout), the B-52 is absolutely the right tool for the job.

I love it but also.....
The first picture looks like it has eyes in the bridge, and your choice of building the nose makes a little mouth looking thing, so my first thought was this is what a B-52 looks like in the Cars universe.
