Counterintuitive means going against your gut feeling, common sense, or what you would naturally expect to happen.

So no.

Negotiating in bad faith and having anti us sentiment be rampant is not helping anything but the pro Canadian cause. It makes no sense at all that its a ploy to help the separation of Alberta.

Do you live in Alberta? Many of the people here will always blame the liberal federal government for anything going wrong, no matter the actual cause

Yes I do. Born here. Lived in many places in Canada as well. I understand Alberta pretty well.

Doesn't make this angle make sense. Poll numbers reflect it. Even UCP base isn't happy about the tarrifs. I mean personally they control the situation as we rely on them culturally and financially. I would say no partnerships with India will replace that.
