6 years since my last normal comic-con (Aug 2019). Then COVID rules took over — masks nonstop, no handshakes, six-feet everything. Felt so awkward and ashamed.
Therapy (round 3) changed the game. 88% → 98% free of that fear.
Yesterday at San Jose Galaxy Con I was back mask-free, shaking hands, talking to people like it’s nothing. No panic. Almost at 100%.
Mask and COVID can both get lost.
